I recommend you put up a new journal, as many are inclined to see the No Submit bit and not note the date.

That was AMAZING! I feel so grounded and refreshed.

I had seen some people mention it in their journals but didn't really know what it was. Earlier today Katie mentioned her and her husband were going to participate in the Earth Hour. I knew she was not Wicca/Pagan so I asked her what it was. From 8:30pm to 9:30pm without any electricity or technology. I told her I would try to do it if I remembered not thinking I would remember. I went back to cleaning and rearranging furniture while watching Kaze No Stigma and after that was done I was just watching Kaze No Stigma. lol

The episode I was watching ended and I happen to look at the clock: 8:20pm. I turned off my laptop and got up to turn the tv off along with the power strip. I decided to start off by taking out the recycling and was hoping to look at the half Moon. When I got outside it was raining but I took my time walking to the recycling bin and a slight jog back to my apartment. Got back inside and the clock read 8:29pm. "Back just in time," I thought.

Before I had left to take out the recycling I had lit a candle on my altar, one on top of my entertainment center for light in the living room and one candle in my bathroom. It was surprising how much little three candles gave off in my apartment. I also closed the blinds to try and keep the light from the street lights out of my apartment for the hour.

I started by putting on my Hemanite ring along with my Moonstone necklace and then lighting two sticks of Dragon's Blood incense while calling to the Earth Goddess Gaia and the Moon Goddess Selene. I then lit my Sage bundle and began to purify and cleanse my apartment. That part alone was intense. I took the time to left the smoke from the sage bundle washed over everything and slowly went around every room in my apartment. I also cleanse my new bookshelf which I had gotten today for my ever growing DVD collection and the new books I got at Borders in the past two days because the stores around here are closing. I also cleansed the wall above my kitchen sink and the wall in my laundry room over my cat's food bowls as those two spots I am going to hang new shelves. My cat watched me as she was curled up on my bed and after I cleansed my closet and my bedroom before I moved on I cleansed her. The first time I did that she was like what they heck is that stuff. This time she looked at me like really that stuff again.

After my apartment had been cleanse with giving special attention to the windows and doors with extra attention to the main door of the apartment I set up a wooden TV tray with the candle from my altar and the candle which I had placed on top of my entertainment center. I then pulled out my "Moon Magick" book and read about the January Moon and got halfway through the chapter on the February Moon. Yeah I know I have been behind in reading the book. I was going to read more of "Year of the Cat" by Zoe Daniels but as a cleansed the apartment I felt I should take the time to read the Moon book instead.

Afterward I moved the candles back talked to Gaia in front of my altar. As I was talking I realized I should have lit the green candle at the start of the hour yet I didn't think about it. I remember Jenny had got new candles and left them here so I got out the green on and lit it. Then I remember we still had an old green one so lit that one instead and put the other one up. Yeah I know the candles are going to be out of balance now but I will have to get over that. Next time we do a ritual we will just have to use the new candles. lol

Anyways, I lit the green candle, sat on the floor and placed it before me. Again I don't remember exactly everything I said but at that time of lighting the green candle and placing it before me I closed my eyes and asked the Earth spirits to join me and listen to me. I told the Earth spirits and Gaia that I wanted to give my energy to the Earth and in return get a small piece of Earth energy inside me so that I may always acknowledge and see the beauty around me. I placed both my hands on my carpet to transfer and receive energy from the Earth since I couldn't be outside at that moment. I felt something brush me and opened my eyes to find my Stitch sniffing beside me and then watched as she sniffed the candle. She then walked by me and I picked her up for a second and held her in my lap as we both stared at the candle. After I put her down and returned my hands face down towards the Earth she sat off to my right intently watching me. A little awhile later she moved a little further to the side and laid down to watch me.

Keeping my palms pressed against the carpet I closed my eyes and tried to visualize the energy flowing out of my left hand into the ground and a small bit of Earth energy, if the spirits would give it to me, flowing through my right hand into my body. It was an amazing experience that words fail completely at describing. The longer I did this occasionally opening my eyes to look into the flame of the green candle the more grounded and heavier I got. Really! My body felt so heavy I felt like I could sink into the Earth. When I got to this feeling I eased up not wanting to fall asleep or pass out with candles burning unattended in my apartment.

I thanked Selene and Gaia for listening to me. I thanked the Earth spirits for coming and giving me a small piece of Earth energy and said the green candle will burn for the Earth until the flame dies out. I will not extinguish it. At that point I could have easily went ahead and gone to bed. I took a chance and looked at the clock which read 9:35pm. I timed it perfectly because I keep my clocks five minutes fast so I ended right at 9:30pm. I was perfectly willing to spend as much time as needed over the hour but it wasn't needed. I didn't even want to turn on the laptop afterward just a single light and read til I feel asleep. I wanted to tell my experience before I forgot it so I immediately jumped on to tell of my Earth Hour.

No I havent seen it. You ment your ID.
I think it will not fit because showing a witch is not pagan.
The other things were too fuzzy. Did you made them by yourself?
